Unplanned Workout ... at the Beach

Yesterday a friend asked me if I wanted to go to the beach. I said sure. I packed a towel, a book, my ipod, and got ready to enjoy a nice day doing nothing.

That ... is not what happened.

We did go to the beach -- Palos Verdes beach. I'd never been there before. It is GORGEOUS. And it's a rocky beach, not a sandy beach like I assumed we were going to go to. Call me ignorant but I didn't even know rocky beaches existed anywhere near me...

Anyway, we ended up hiking up and down this steep non-path... I fell twice. :(  We also had to cross a large area of rocks at the bottom of the cove which was NOT easy at all.

Oh well, all in the name of getting some interesting pics, right? Enjoy..
